Magenta Theater presents the West End hit "The 39 Steps"

As Magenta Theater's "Sealegs" (see earlier post) sails off into the sunset, they open a new show this April. "The 39 Steps," adapted from the classic 1939 Alfred Hitchcock film, a cloak and dagger tale, features four actors playing multiple roles.

The thriller follows Richard Hannay as he encounters a beautiful spy, is framed for her murder and then must take a perilous journey across the United Kingdom to unravel the conspiracy.

The show plays April 13, 14, 19-21, 25-27 at 7:30 p.m., as well as April 22 and 28 at 2 p.m. at the Magenta Theater, 606 Main St., Vancouver, Wash. Tickets are $12-$15.

For more information see the Magenta website or call 360-635-4358.

The video above is from the West End production of the play.

I will be reviewing this on opening night.
Look for my review on Saturday, April 14 by noon.
