With the Toyota Sienna Mobility vehicle, Serendipity Players will extend access to theater by providing transport for house-bound or nursing home residents to attend performances. In addition, costumes, set pieces and props will fit nicely in the generous cargo space, making Serendipity Players more mobile. This will allow the company to produce plays in churches, nursing homes, cafes, parks and community centers, broadening the reach and involvement in theater arts by taking theater to the people.
Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program will award 100 vehicles over the course of 50 days to 100 deserving nonprofit organizations based on votes from the public. Winning organizations will use the Toyota vehicles to help expand their reach and missions within their communities.
