This season’s musical, “Spring Awakening,” is based on an 1891 play controversial in its time for discussing topics like sex and suicide.
Productions like these are ruffling feathers in the community because of their adult themes.
Local theater blogger, Gregory Zschomler, disagrees with the direction of the Clark Theatre Program under Theatre Program Director, Gene Biby.
Zschomler posted on Aug. 29, “Personally, I’d like to see Biby go away,” and, “You can’t make us swallow what we think smells bad.” (continued)
