"The Guys" 9/11 Drama to be Presented at Magenta Theater

Magenta Theater hosts the staged reading of Ann Nelson's "The Guys," directed by KC Cooper, a drama centering on a slice of the aftermath of 9/11 (2001).

The story follows Fire Captain Nick as he enlists the help of Joan, an editor, to prepare the eulogies for the eight men he lost in the collapse of the World Trade Center. She helps him build the heartfelt speeches as he works through his own emotions.

Due to the nature of the material the play is not recommended for children under the age of twelve.

Performances will take place 7:30 p.m., Sept. 7 and 8 at the Magenta Theater, 606 Main St., Vancouver, Wash. Tickets (general admission seating) are $10. For more information see http://www.magentatheater.com/Calendar.htm#GUY or call 360-635-4358.
