Vancouver's Slocum Players Need Help with New Home on Main

This just in from Slocum House Theatre:

"The time has finally arrived. The Slocum House Theatre is no more. The Slocum House is still the house and the theatre is still a theatre. However, the two no longer have anything to do with the other. It is sad to lose our home but the family has stayed together.

"We are now Slocum Players and we live at 3909 Main St., Vancouver, Wash. We will keep you up to date on the progression. We hope to have an opening real soon. Watch for auditions. You know you want to be in the first show at the new theatre.

"We may be asking for help along the way. The building is not a theater. We must make it a theater.

"Areas needed: Building platforms, organizing costumes, electrical help, sweeping, mopping, painting... so much. Most of this will be done in the evenings or on weekends.

"If you are unable to physically help, a monetary donation would be very helpful. Please be aware that we are not a 501c3 at this time. We could use some help with that too.

"Be part of the newest/oldest community theatre in Vancouver.

"Thank you for everything. We love our patrons/family and we can't wait to see all of you again."

If you want to help, just leave a message on Facebook or email to
